Thanks! Glad to listen to you in NC. I’ve also asked Tillis about a Town Hall, as well as Pat Harrigan and Ted Budd. No luck so far. I’m in District 10, Iredell County.
Thank you! I am getting ready to call him and mention these points., Also , In Cary on March 20th, Tillis has been invited to a town Hall meeting at Greenwood Forest Baptist Church by "a group of Cary citizens to discuss issues related to current political decisions in Washington..." Wanna bet on whether or not he will show up? He is always between a rock and a hard place, between his constituents' best interests and his golden boss' affection.
Tillis voted for every single member of Trump's shameful representation of a cabinet. His postings on Ukraine are empty words. We need a real senator in that seat, as soon as the next election. We need a leader - Tillis clearly does not qualify.
The idea of Tillis as a "leader" of ANYthing is utterly laughable. Tillis does not lead. He never has. I think he must have been born with a finger in the wind. He has no core values, no bedrock principles, no moral compass. He's an empty suit, a waste of skin and that's exactly what Trump -- and McConnell -- liked about him.
I am reminded on a near daily basis -- at least every time another form letter email response comes from his staff -- of John Goodman's character in The Big Lebowski, who says, "Say what you will about the tenets of national socialism, but at least it was an ethos." Trump is corrupt to his core, but at least he has one. Tillis doesn't.

Tillis, the leader of the responsible wing of the GOP? Is there a responsible wing of the GOP?
