Well said about both of your points. Senator Blue has done so much to our state and if we are to survive as a political party we must look to younger leaders to guide us into the future and continue the fight.

I'm sure Dan Blue deserves all of the praise and respect you have given him. However, like Joe Biden, it was evident to me that it was time to pass the torch when I saw him introduce Kamala Harris recently. He mispronounced her name - "kah-Mal-lah" - like Donald Trump did intentionally - and read from a script that could have been written in the 70's. The crowd's applause was perfunctory and polite - the kind you give a speaker to let him know it's time to leave the stage. I was embarrassed for him.

I've heard Dan Blue a few times and he was always powerful in the past. He was my Senator for 1 term because of all the Gerrymandering.

Fully agree with the change of leadership as evidenced by the current power grab bill disguised as Helene relief. It will be be easier to break the majority in the NC Senate as there are only 50 members. Batch has the capability

Thomas, I think you are forgetting that Dan and his handful were in league with House Republicans. Black had his problems but Blue wanted power as bad as Black.
