A little housekeeping

Updating your information and other thoughts.

This post is just some housekeeping. Over the past few weeks, I’ve had several people reach out to ask me how to update their payment information or to change their email address. Substack won’t let me update either for you and I really didn’t know how to perform either task. So I asked Substack and this is what they said about updating payment info:

Direct them to log into their Substack account and go to their account settings by clicking this link: https://substack.com/settings

They should select the Substack publication under Subscriptions for which they want to update the payment information.

In the Payment information section, they'll need to click on "Edit" next to Payment method.

They can then enter their new card details and click Save.

You can reach your Substack account by clicking on the “Subscribed” button in the email that came from PoliticsNC and it should take you to “Manage your subscription” or you can go to Substack.com and click on the icon in the upper righthand corner of the page. Once there, you can also change your email address.
